If they do not fit, speak with an agent or visit Amtrak.com to determine if your train offers checked baggage service.
Each passenger can also check up to 4 bags - 2 free of charge and 2 for $20 per bag, each not to exceed 50 lbs. (23 kg), 75 linear inches (length + width + height). Just make sure the origin and destination stations offer checked baggage service when you book your trip.
You may be charged a baggage fee or denied boarding if your items exceed these limitations.
